Our History

The Institute of People Management of Namibia (IPM Namibia) founded in 2010 by Mr Tim Ekandjo, is the leading organization for human resources management and professional in Namibia. As an affiliate of all IPM institutes in Africa, it serves to foster professional practices in the industries of Human Resources in Namibia.

IPM Namibia is a member of the African Federation of Human Resource Management Associations and maintains strong connections with various organizations in southern Africa and Africa at large.

Consecutively held 13 successful annual conferences.

Positively contributed to Namibia’s National HR Plan.

Instilled respect for the HR profession.

Addressed issue of internship nationally.

Addressed issue of work visas on behalf of corporate Namibia.
